Joel Ermano made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gogo Quintana sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Oeste psicodelico's Aldo Montay got a free kick in the 18th minute. Victoriano Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oeste psicodelico's Abel Ermano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Arsenio Adrio fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Belgrano's protests and gave Arsenio Adrio a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Cresconio to strike the kick off in the second half. Gogo Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Ermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Quintana in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Oeste psicodelico's Ovidio Belo got control of the ball when Baldomero Polentzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Belo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baldomero Polentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Baldomero Polentzi from a close distance when the talented Ovidio Belo managed to make a qualified save. Ovidio Belo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Polentzi went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Oeste psicodelico's goalkeeper Ovidio Belo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Polentzi. Celso Boni hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Joel Ermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Firman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Gogo Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Ermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cirilo Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Belo having to interfere. Oeste psicodelico's Ovidio Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Cresconio in the 88th minute of play. Joel Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Quintana in the 94th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
