Mateo Eliazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Eliazar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Jauria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Atilano Delfino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wasyl Dulemba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Atauri in the 19th minute. Rigoberto Abaurre charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Abaurre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Pasión Palermista FC's Felix Guerrero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseo Haitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pasión Palermista FC reached it. Marcos Atauri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Wasyl Dulemba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute Mateo Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Dulemba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Eliseo Haitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pasión Palermista FC's Atilano Delfino got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44th play minutes Anacleto Mon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Eliseo Haitz and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Atilano Delfino took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Eliseo Haitz to make any attempt to save it. Marcos Atauri took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Dulemba. Wasyl Dulemba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Leonel Hermelando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Haitz having to make a save. Atilano Delfino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jauria's Eliseo Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Delfino in the 67th minute of play. When Eliseo Innocenzio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pasión Palermista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Innocenzio couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Atilano Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pasión Palermista FC were furious when Bernardino Lopez was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pasión Palermista FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty!
