After 13 minutes, Evelio Bingen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Depo Tria and the Atraucó FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Depo Tria's Evelio Bingen got a free kick in the 13th minute. Siro Argenis, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Depo Tria's Florentino Abilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Ibar in the 16th minute of play. Alejo Handi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Abilio. Florentino Abilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Guaberto Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jeronimo Guerau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Guerau having to interfere. Jeronimo Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Nataniel in the 36th minute of play. Claudio Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. When Guaberto Criston fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atraucó FC's protests and gave Guaberto Criston a yellow card for diving instead. If Octavio Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Ibar to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Atraucó FC's Rosendo Ibar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Abilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Depo Tria's Florentino Abilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Ibar in the 60th minute of play. Jeronimo Guerau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Nataniel in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Atraucó FC's Jeronimo Guerau got control of the ball when Claudio Nataniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Claudio Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Evelio Bingen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Atraucó FC booed when Depo Tria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
