If Fausto Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Excelxion's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Handi came free, but Ermegildo Formerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Excelxion getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Teofilo Elazar hit a great ball. Siro Argenis missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 11 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ermegildo Formerio right hand side. Jeronimo Guerau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Millan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Gervasio Suero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Excelxion and the Atraucó FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atraucó FC booed when Excelxion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Suero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25th play minutes Fausto Millan shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jeronimo Guerau and just under the crossbar into goal. Ermegildo Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Excelxion's Fausto Millan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Formerio having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Rosendo Ibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Excelxion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Suero to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Alejo Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Formerio having to interfere. When Atraucó FC's Rosendo Ibar in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Excelxion's goalie prevented a goal. If Rosendo Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54thth minute of the game Fausto Millan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atraucó FC's Jeronimo Guerau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Guerau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ermegildo Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Formerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Ibar in the 59th minute of the match. Excelxion's Ricardo Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Atraucó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Celipe came free, but Jeronimo Guerau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atraucó FC's Leandro Fernandez got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Fausto Millan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Atraucó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Criston to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Millan scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Guerau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Arlo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jeronimo Guerau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Excelxion. 77 minutes into the match, Excelxion's Fausto Millan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Arlo's late challenge caught a Atraucó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Arlo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Excelxion getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ricardo Arlo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Atraucó FC defense, Fausto Millan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Guerau. The Atraucó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Guerau should have stopped the shot. Alejo Handi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Primitivo Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Guerau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atraucó FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Excelxion.
