Ombucta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th match minute, Ombucta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Ombucta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Delfino came free, but Vinicio Venceslas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ombucta FC's Wasyl Dulemba threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pascual Berriotxoa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Isidro Ayala's late challenge caught a Pasión Palermista FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Ayala helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Arnaldo Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Flavio Bernard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wasyl Dulemba skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Ombucta FC's Isidro Ayala got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Delfino in the 26th minute of play forced Ombucta FC's goalkeeper Vinicio Venceslas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Delfino in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Venceslas saved Ombucta FC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the game, Anacleto Mon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pasión Palermista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ombucta FC the free kick. The audience was convinced that Atilano Delfino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Venceslas was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Atilano Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Atilano Delfino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Vinicio Venceslas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 57 played minutes Ombucta FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Savier. Vinicio Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Atilano Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ombucta FC's Vinicio Venceslas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Delfino in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ombucta FC's goalkeeper Vinicio Venceslas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Atilano Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Vinicio Venceslas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vinicio Venceslas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Delfino's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When Atilano Delfino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vinicio Venceslas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pasión Palermista FC's Anacleto Mon got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ubaldo Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Venceslas having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Atilano Delfino took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Vinicio Venceslas to make any attempt to save it. The Ombucta FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pasión Palermista FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
