Niceto Chorache charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Chorache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Ranquilcó got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Chorache. Nunez Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Gar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Brun in the 7th minute of play forced Ranquilcó's goalkeeper Victor Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Kaxen's late challenge caught a El Bidón de Branco F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernabe Kaxen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Bernabe Kaxen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Gar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Estebe in the 18th minute of the match. Victor Gar came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by El Bidón de Branco F.C.'s Nunez Estebe. But to his dismay, Nunez Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tiburcio Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Victor Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ranquilcó's Victor Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Frisco in the 35th minute of play. Victor Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Brun in the 40th minute of play. Joakim Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Tab in the 42nd minute of play. If Nunez Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half El Bidón de Branco F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Tab stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Tiburcio Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Silvano Tab made a precise shot to the right of Joakim Strömberg. El Bidón de Branco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 73rd minute Zeledon Matei suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Federico Oidor fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Bidón de Branco F.C.'s protests and gave Federico Oidor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, one of El Bidón de Branco F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Bidón de Branco F.C.. Niceto Chorache walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Silvano Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Brun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Nunez Estebe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ranquilcó's goalkeeper Victor Gar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tiburcio Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 98 in the game by Nunez Estebe from a close distance when the talented Victor Gar managed to make a qualified save. Ranquilcó's players were relieved. The El Bidón de Branco F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ranquilcó from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
