Felipe Roldan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jairo Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bilardistas. The Bilardistas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportivo Palestino were winning 0-1.

Bilardistas's Maximiliano Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Bilardistas from getting a goal against them. Cesar Teyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Cesario made a huge save. In the 57th match minute, Club Deportivo Palestino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Damario to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Felipe Roldan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. In the 92nd minute Jonatan Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Jonatan Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Avellaneda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Cesario was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The Club Deportivo Palestino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Deportivo Palestino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
