After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Severo Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cofradía Suiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Gonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Gonzo was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Cofradía Suiza got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Mon. Severo Gonzo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Cofradía Suiza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Dubardo got free with Victorino Ralondo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cofradía Suiza's Lino Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Ralondo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Lino Dubardo sent off a good shot on target. Severo Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 97 minutes, Severo Gonzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cofradía Suiza and the Chinchinales AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severo Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Cofradía Suiza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
