Club Atlético San Isidro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Dyczkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Loreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devin Booker went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fabian Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Mellin in the 28th minute of play. Astor Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Otamendi's Fabian Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Mellin in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético San Isidro's Juan Manuel Fangio got a free kick in the 35th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Otamendi's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Mellin came free, but Fabian Loreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ernesto Faron ran over to the corner to take the kick. Astor Pierres tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Fabian Loreto. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-4 in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Mellin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Loreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Emenon charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Emenon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Rodrigo Jaizki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Club Atlético San Isidro's Pawel Dyczkowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Rodrigo Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Club Atlético San Isidro got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Faron. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Mellin got free with Fabian Loreto in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Otamendi defense, Rodrigo Jaizki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Loreto. The Otamendi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Loreto should have stopped the shot. Club Atlético San Isidro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
