Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vinicio Ledesma took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guaberto Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Arias having to interfere. When Siro Tebaldo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sotelo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Tebaldo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Kiliz in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Arias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustino Oso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Ledesma went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 27 minutes of play, Sotelo AFC's Siro Tebaldo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Arias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Pedroso. Sotelo AFC's Faustino Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lopes in the 35th minute of play. Vinicio Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Oso having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Kiliz made a kick off. Bonifacio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Kiliz in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Siro Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sotelo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Tebaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guaberto Kiliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Fernando Lopes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sotelo AFC's Faustino Oso. Faustino Oso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bonifacio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Guaberto Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotelo AFC's Faustino Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Ledesma in the 71st minute of play. Goldney AFC's Vinicio Ledesma was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Goldney AFC's Vinicio Ledesma got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinicio Ledesma had several of the Sotelo AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Faustino Oso as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Guaberto Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Faustino Oso made a huge save. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Angelo Ferdinand hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goldney AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
