Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Filiberto Etxatxu made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Salto's Hector Gasteiz got a free kick in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the game, one of Salto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 14 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Etxatxu came free, but Maximiliano Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Tallia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Martinez. Amador Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes LA MOLE FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Cisco. Carlos Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Oscar Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Carlos Vincent dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Bastian, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Oscar Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Carlos Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Oscar Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Delmar Eyague fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salto's protests and gave Delmar Eyague a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Salto getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Delmar Eyague hit a great ball. When Angel Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Salto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Oxarra couldn't finish the play. If Carlos Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Vincent came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Salto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Vincent couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in LA MOLE FC's zone, Carlos Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Bastian came out of the goal and Carlos Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Llope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Tallia made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Vincent during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Vincent to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Salto's goalkeeper Maximiliano Tallia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Llope. 96 minutes into the match, Primitivo Hunfredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximiliano Tallia, 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salto had played much better football throughout.
