Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Tomás Ospin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Tatay defense, Lázaro Fanuco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Baleren. The Tatay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Baleren should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Tatay booed when HEARTS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Tadeo Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Esdras hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Tatay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvestre Ibar in the 21st minute. Prudencio Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Tomás Ospin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prudencio Pitin. Tomás Ospin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Israel Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Abad charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Abad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tatay getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Filiberto Abad hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, HEARTS's goalkeeper Prudencio Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Ler. Tadeo Ler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prudencio Pitin having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Tadeo Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Handi to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, HEARTS's Bernabe Leheren got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lázaro Fanuco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Isaias Baleren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind HEARTS's goalkeeper Prudencio Pitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaias Baleren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Handi in the 77th minute of play. Tomás Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Tadeo Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Abeijon in the 94th minute of the match. If Tomás Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The HEARTS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tatay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
