The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pichaihué's Arturo Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Raphael in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Pichaihué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Cordera to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Desaguadero's Elias Raphael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Christobal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aaron Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Baumer having to interfere. In the 16th minute Albano Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Christobal having to interfere. Aaron Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Romelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Aaron Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Baumer having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Eron in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Baumer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Romelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Pichaihué's Aaron Romelio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Baumer having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Eron made a kick off. When Jesus Bermudo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pichaihué's protests and gave Jesus Bermudo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, one of Pichaihué:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pichaihué. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Desaguadero. Danilo Rosalio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arturo Christobal. 1-0. 66 minutes into the match, Desaguadero's goalkeeper Constantino Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Romelio. Constantino Baumer stood somewhat misplaced when Albano Eron came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Constantino Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Eron in the 88th minute of play. Desaguadero's Candido Mannie got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Candido Mannie off the ground. Candido Mannie hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Constantino Baumer had great luck who in the 93rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Albano Eron from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Aaron Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
