Esparta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Gaur in the 59th managed to get into a good position. Apuyaco FC's Marco Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Pinto in the 68th minute of play. Rogelio Loriens short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Marco Romo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquiles Ixona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco FC's Bartolo Bordat got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Apuyaco FC were the better team. Apuyaco FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
