Leonel Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Efrain Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Guillermo Ferran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Efrain Kaxen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Gaur in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Kaxen saved Racing Club from getting behind. Racing Club's Efrain Kaxen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Ferran in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Leonel Gaur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apuyaco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Juan Theobald's late challenge caught a Apuyaco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Juan Theobald hit a great ball. When Bartolo Bordat fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apuyaco FC's protests and gave Bartolo Bordat a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Apuyaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Bordat. Rafael Pio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Racing Club's Justo Frutos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Apuyaco FC. After 38 played minutes Apuyaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Bordat. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Guillerme to strike the kick off in the second half. Racing Club's Juan Theobald got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Juan Theobald off the ground. Efrain Kaxen had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Hernan Rayman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Efrain Kaxen came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Apuyaco FC's Hernan Rayman. But to his dismay, Hernan Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Racing Club's Alfredo Umbruso in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apuyaco FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Gaur got free with Efrain Kaxen in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 92 in the game by Leonel Gaur from a close distance when the talented Efrain Kaxen managed to make a qualified save. Racing Club's players were relieved. In the 96th minute, Rafael Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Apuyaco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
