The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hector Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Macedo AFC's Dario Matxin in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Dario Matxin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Romo. Marco Romo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dario Matxin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Matxin in the 28th minute of play forced Apuyaco FC's goalkeeper Marco Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marco Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Apuyaco FC's zone, Dario Matxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Romo came out of the goal and Dario Matxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Matxin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Marco Romo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dario Matxin came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Romo could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Apuyaco FC's goalkeeper Marco Romo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apuyaco FC's Marco Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Frances in the 53rd minute of play. Marco Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Matxin in the 56th minute of play. Marco Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Matxin in the 61st minute of the match. Marco Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Matxin in the 87th minute of play. Marco Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Aurken, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Macedo AFC's Hector Frances sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Romo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Dario Matxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macedo AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
