When Marcelo Lander fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torresani's protests and gave Marcelo Lander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Marcelo Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Aritza took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Haritz. Mario Haritz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcelo Lander hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Charro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Haritz. Torresani's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gaudencio Charro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Saverio Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torresani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimiro Lehior hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Guido Corderall notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of River Plate's Eloy Osorio. Eloy Osorio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torresani's Mario Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Lehior in the 30th minute of play. Mario Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Ikatz in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Guido Corderall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Osorio. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Corderall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Eloy Osorio made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Guido Corderall sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Corderall to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Gaspar Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Corderall, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Virgilio Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Guido Corderall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eloy Osorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute Guido Corderall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Gaspar Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Osorio came out of the goal and Gaspar Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Corderall in the 80th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Eloy Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Osorio having to interfere. When Guido Corderall came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Torresani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Corderall couldn't finish the play. After 85 minutes, Vladimiro Lehior mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate and the Torresani players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vladimiro Lehior hit a great ball. Eloy Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Corderall, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jonas Montrel hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Torresani walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
