Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benjamin Aritza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Javier Gines made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Leonel Ikatz sent off a good shot on target. Godofredo Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Javier Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, River Plate's Javier Gines threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Aritza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Javier Gines made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Leonel Ikatz sent off a good shot on target. If Leonel Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Plate's Eloy Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Bartolome in the 33rd minute of play. Eloy Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Bartolome in the 35th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Leonel Ikatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Bartolome stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Chaco 6's Zeledon Bartolome ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eloy Osorio. Eloy Osorio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Leonel Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute Leonel Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Leonel Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Gines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Lehior during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vladimiro Lehior hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Eloy Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Leonel Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Benjamin Aritza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Gines. Chaco 6's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Aritza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Chaco 6 booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Francho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 79th minute, when Chaco 6's Eleuterio Lastur after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Eloy Osorio in River Plate's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 93rd minute, Iker Aznar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaco 6 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Chaco 6 booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chaco 6 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
