Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Echagüe Fútbol Club's Emilio Bastiaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute, Emilio Bastiaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Pedro Cordarrell took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnulfo Urki to make any attempt to save it. Echagüe Fútbol Club's Eustacio Pacho got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Echagüe Fútbol Club's Emilio Bastiaro managed to work through Caleufú AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Emilio Bastiaro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 24th minute, Hermengildo Dalmai made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Maureo. Echagüe Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Echagüe Fútbol Club booed when Caleufú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Esdras in the 29th minute of play forced Echagüe Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Maureo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Nofre went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Eriberto Nofre struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rogelio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caleufú AFC. If Hermengildo Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Caleufú AFC's Arnulfo Urki got control of the ball when Eustacio Pacho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Echagüe Fútbol Club's Baldomero Lore got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Nofre to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Emilio Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emilio Bastiaro fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Echagüe Fútbol Club's protests and gave Emilio Bastiaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Echagüe Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Caleufú AFC booed when Echagüe Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emilio Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Caleufú AFC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Caleufú AFC's Eriberto Nofre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emilio Bastiaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Urki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Urki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Pacho in the 88th minute of play. Rogelio Maureo was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Eriberto Nofre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eriberto Nofre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Nofre in the 96th minute of play forced Echagüe Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caleufú AFC played a much better game than Echagüe Fútbol Club and deserved their victory. The Echagüe Fútbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
