Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Lehen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rogelio Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Lehen's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Alberto Lehen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Echagüe Fútbol Club's Emilio Bastiaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tricolor FC's Ciriaco Nesor got a free kick in the 12th minute. Emilio Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anacleto Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Bastiaro in the 20th minute of play. In the 27th minute Emilio Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Guerau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maureo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alberto Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tricolor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Lehen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Ciriaco Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Emilio Bastiaro made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Echagüe Fútbol Club's Emilio Bastiaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerardo Estevez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tricolor FC's zone, Emilio Bastiaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Guerau came out of the goal and Emilio Bastiaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Emilio Bastiaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tricolor FC's Anacleto Guerau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tricolor FC's Ramon Rozarius got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Pacho in the 76th minute of play. If Emilio Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Tricolor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Bastiaro came free, but Anacleto Guerau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Ciriaco Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tricolor FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Echagüe Fútbol Club.
