Spectators: 6393 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chipaté's Emanuel Prejun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Americo Polentzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Dimas having to make a save. When Marcelo Boniel fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiriguanos's protests and gave Marcelo Boniel a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Chiriguanos got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Boniel. 7 minutes into the game, Chipaté's Emanuel Prejun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Hulberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edelmiro Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Manilan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chipaté's German Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Chipaté from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Chiriguanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Hulberto having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chipaté's goalkeeper German Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Americo Polentzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Dimas having to make a save. Americo Polentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Marcelo Boniel was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcelo Boniel hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Tomás Artaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Hulberto skillfully saved the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Macario made a kick off. Eduardo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Nereo Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiriguanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Ostadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Gilberto Manilan could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Edelmiro Hulberto however easily saved by the left post. Emanuel Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Edelmiro Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Chiriguanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Americo Polentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Manilan during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Marcos Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chiriguanos:s Edelmiro Hulberto showed great skill when he stopped Tomás Artaldo:s penalty. 91 minutes into the match, Tomás Artaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Hulberto. Chiriguanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Artaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Eduardo Bernaldo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chiriguanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Bernaldo couldn't finish the play. Americo Polentzi took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Dimas. German Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Chipaté's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
