The referee ignored gracias palermo's protests and gave Sixto Cresencio a yellow card for diving instead. Sixto Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Fabian Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Orlanda having to interfere. Ciro Jurdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Cruz in the 19th minute of the match. Flavio Cutberto had several of the gracias palermo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Alonzo Orlanda as he didn't even see the shot coming. Flavio Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alonzo Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Lartaun hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Felix Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente Beltran's zone, Ezequiel Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Jurdan came out of the goal and Ezequiel Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind gracias palermo's goalkeeper Alonzo Orlanda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Gabon got free with Alonzo Orlanda in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Cruz made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Independiente Beltran got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Lartaun. Felix Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Jurdan having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Independiente Beltran's Fabian Gabon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Orlanda was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to gracias palermo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leonardo Lalla hit a great ball. Ezequiel Mateus might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Orlanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Mateus ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to gracias palermo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Feliciano Victoro hit a great ball. gracias palermo's Alonzo Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cutberto in the 66th minute of play. Salvador Lartaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Orlanda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Flavio Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alonzo Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Independiente Beltran's Ciro Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Cruz in the 77th minute of play. Alonzo Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cutberto in the 78th minute of play. Alonzo Orlanda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Cutberto's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Fabian Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Flavio Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Victoro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Flavio Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute Fabian Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Independiente Beltran fully deserved thier win.
