The referee ignored Chasicó's protests and gave Justo Elazar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chasicó getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Justo Elazar hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Echagüe Fútbol Club's zone, Santiago Cordera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Maureo came out of the goal and Santiago Cordera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tadeo Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chasicó's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Mino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Emilio Bastiaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echagüe Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chasicó the free kick. The supporters of Chasicó booed when Echagüe Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Echagüe Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Cortez to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Echagüe Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Mino came free, but Rogelio Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Santiago Cordera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Maureo. Echagüe Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Cordera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pedro Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Emilio Bastiaro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Santiago Cordera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echagüe Fútbol Club's Rogelio Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogelio Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Cordera's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Baldomero Lore hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Santiago Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Eustacio Pacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echagüe Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Pacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maureo having to interfere. Eustacio Pacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lorenzo Ermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Echagüe Fútbol Club's Rogelio Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Vistruario in the 52nd minute of play. Lorenzo Ermano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Cordera hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Gabriel Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The long shot by Romulo Vistruario in the 64th minute really tested Rogelio Maureo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chasicó eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
