No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Jurdan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermengildo Dalmai scored 3-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Jurdan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Nofre in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Jurdan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Arnulfo Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Flavio Cutberto fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente Beltran's protests and gave Flavio Cutberto a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Independiente Beltran got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Cutberto. Flavio Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arnulfo Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cutberto in the 97th minute of play forced Caleufú AFC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caleufú AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
