Americo Polentzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Guerau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Polentzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Americo Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Polentzi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Guerau saved Tricolor FC from getting behind. Americo Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tricolor FC booed when Chiriguanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Enol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tricolor FC's Anacleto Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Polentzi in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Chiriguanos's Americo Polentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jeremias Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Chiriguanos booed when Tricolor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Tricolor FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Iratze. Anacleto Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Polentzi in the 47th minute of play. If Eduardo Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Fernan Iratze hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Americo Polentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anacleto Guerau was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Chiriguanos's Americo Polentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Enol during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Chiriguanos got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Enol. Alberto Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chiriguanos's Jeremias Enol got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Chiriguanos defense, Ramon Rozarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Hulberto. The Chiriguanos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Hulberto should have stopped the shot. In the 97th match minute, Chiriguanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Boniel to maneuver through the defense.
