Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severiano Segio started the match with the kick off. Severiano Segio scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Haimar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The lanus fc fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when lanus fc's Dionisio Ubarna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vinicio Ostadar's late challenge caught a lanus fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Ostadar helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 minutes, Astor Frances mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the lanus fc and the Calmayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes lanus fc got a freekick which was hit by Astor Frances. In the 21st match minute, Calmayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Alfonso Bazil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Joseph was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Hotz during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, lanus fc's Justo Hotz got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Vinicio Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to lanus fc getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Justo Hotz hit a great ball. Fidel Joseph was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Victoriano Monte. 33 minutes into the match, lanus fc's Severiano Segio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Haimar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Astor Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes, Severiano Segio made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Calmayo's Marco Haimar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Severiano Weterio fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calmayo's protests and gave Severiano Weterio a yellow card for diving instead. Severiano Weterio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calmayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geronimo Nazario was slow to take the kick. During this time lanus fc's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on lanus fc's corner Geronimo Nazario fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Haimar quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half lanus fc were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Justo Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calmayo's Alfonso Bazil got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Frances took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Haimar. Marco Haimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Alfonso Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Astor Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th play minute Astor Frances came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marco Haimar. 1-5. If Severiano Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Marco Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Justo Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Calmayo were awarded a corner. Victoriano Monte went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over lanus fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Calmayo throughout the match.
