Romeo Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Errolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Romeo Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Herrera in the 14th minute of the match. Defensores del Sur's Romeo Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Herrera in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Victorio Errolan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Defensores del Sur's Romeo Truylos. Romeo Truylos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Efrain Umea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Niceto Odon made a huge save. Romeo Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Defensores del Sur's Jimeno Luar in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Hermengildo Etxekopar fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Sur's protests and gave Hermengildo Etxekopar a yellow card for diving instead. If Victorio Errolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half QUILMES A.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Herrera in the 54th minute of play forced Defensores del Sur's goalkeeper Romeo Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th play minute Victorio Errolan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romeo Truylos. 1-3. Niceto Odon came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Sur's Jimeno Luar. But to his dismay, Jimeno Luar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Luar in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Odon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute of the match Cipriano Markel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Odon skillfully saved the ball. Jimeno Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimeno Luar scored 3-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niceto Odon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Bruno Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Paulino Herrera took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Romeo Truylos to make any attempt to save it. In the 85thth minute of the game Jimeno Luar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QUILMES A.C's Niceto Odon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as QUILMES A.C's Paulino Herrera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Truylos. That made the score 4-5 after 91 minutes of play.
