Niceto Odon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ivan Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Calixto in the 31st minute of the match. QUILMES A.C's Niceto Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Cordarrel in the 35th minute of play. Javier Tadzio struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Niceto Odon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martínez. Niceto Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Tadeo Bernat might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Odon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Bernat ran back to his position shaking his head. After 54 minutes QUILMES A.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Tadzio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Martínez's corner Javier Tadzio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niceto Odon quite easily take care of the ball. After 65 played minutes Martínez got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Abilio. Ivan Ostargi came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by QUILMES A.C's Paulino Herrera. But to his dismay, Paulino Herrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 75th minute, Tadeo Bernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Javier Tadzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Odon was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute of the match Nicolas Moise sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Ostargi skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Gaston Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Odon was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Martínez's Gaston Cordarrel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Odon narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
