After 12 played minutes Martínez got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Bernat. 19 minutes into the game, Javier Tadzio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Truylos. Javier Tadzio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Gaston Cordarrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Romeo Truylos made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Jimeno Luar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Ostargi. Martínez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Luar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ivan Ostargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Luar in the 29th minute of play. If Gaston Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores del Sur's Romeo Truylos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Sur from getting a goal against them. Romeo Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Defensores del Sur's Romeo Truylos got control of the ball when Gaston Cordarrel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Gaston Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Efrain Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Ostargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jimeno Luar got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ivan Ostargi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Defensores del Sur's Efrain Umea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Ostargi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romeo Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Tadzio in the 90th minute of play. Romeo Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Bernat in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Defensores del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Cordarrel came free, but Romeo Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Defensores del Sur getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hermengildo Etxekopar hit a great ball. The Defensores del Sur players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
