After having played for 4 minutes, Candido Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Olentzaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute Venancio Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Pampita AFC's Candido Olentzaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Maria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmelo Maria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Olentzaro went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Bernabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Widos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pampita AFC the free kick. The supporters of Pampita AFC booed when Widos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Bernabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Kismi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ariel Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Maria having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match Bernardo Poncio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Gonsalve skillfully saved the ball. When Candido Olentzaro came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Pampita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Olentzaro couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Maria came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Pampita AFC's Ariel Cordaryal. But to his dismay, Ariel Cordaryal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Carmelo Maria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Niceto Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Gizon made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Celedonio Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Niceto Gizon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pampita AFC's Rene Orland got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Julian Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Gonsalve having to interfere. If Ariel Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, German Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Carmelo Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Pampita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Astor Llanos struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Mario Gonsalve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Widos FC. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Niceto Gizon sped through Pampita AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Gonsalve. Carmelo Maria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Olentzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Cordaryal got free with Carmelo Maria in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Widos FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Cordaryal. Pampita AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
