Clodoveo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Sergio Bonifaco got free in front of the goal in the 4th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tobias Romelio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Guayamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Garcia came free, but Tobias Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tobias Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Chaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Evarado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Chaime ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Evarado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Sergio Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Romelio having to interfere. Astor Pio struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Evarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guayamba FC. In the 23rd minute Astor Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tobias Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Romelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Bonifaco went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Panza FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Astor Pio scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Evarado, making the score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Guayamba FC's Amancio Taurino got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Sergio Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Panza FC's Manuel Evarado got control of the ball when Rigoberto Chaime tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Pio was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Guayamba FC's Astor Pio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Evarado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th match minute, Guayamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Taurino to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Bonifaco in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Sergio Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clodoveo Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panza FC's Manuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Chaime in the 70th minute of play. Tobias Romelio was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Clodoveo Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clodoveo Garcia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Tobias Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Tobias Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Panza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Pio came free, but Manuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
