Leo Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Romelio having to interfere. If Rigoberto Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Haze Fc's Eusebio Luzaide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Leo Ritchie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Romelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Haze Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Pio in the 31st minute of play. Sebastian Lidon's late challenge caught a Guayamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Lidon helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Ritchie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Romelio having to make a save. If Eusebio Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Guayamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ritchie came free, but Tobias Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leo Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tobias Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Eusebio Luzaide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a little luck, Guayamba FC's Tobias Romelio got control of the ball when Eusebio Luzaide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eusebio Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Romelio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guayamba FC's Amancio Taurino got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Leo Ritchie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Pastor Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haze Fc the free kick. After 68 played minutes Guayamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Bermudez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Chaime in the 71st minute of play forced Haze Fc's goalkeeper Segundo Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Pastor Bermudez suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Wilfredo Quinto's late challenge caught a Guayamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Quinto helped the player get up and apologised. Wilfredo Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Wilfredo Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eusebio Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Leo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haze Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Leo Ritchie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Romelio was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. If Leo Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Mon kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Haze Fc's Leo Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Tobias Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haze Fc. In the 92nd minute, Guayamba FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Ritchie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 94th minute Leo Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
