FC Barcelona's Gervasio Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Dodorol in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adrian Cisco hit a great ball. Gervasio Palben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Dodorol in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Gervasio Palben got control of the ball when Inocencio Castel tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Reyes was the one to do the kick off.
