Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarimana's Pablo Xabier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adolfo Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Mateo Silban made a huge save. After 5 played minutes Jarimana got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Santiago. Adolfo Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Iker Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Hipatía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Cesario to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Chayo got free with Mateo Silban in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hipatía's Camilo Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Xabier in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sebastian Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarimana's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Santiago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes, Sebastian Santiago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jarimana and the Hipatía players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jarimana getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sebastian Santiago hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Pitin during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Mateo Silban successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Xabier in the 34th minute of play forced Hipatía's goalkeeper Camilo Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Jarimana's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Hermelando came free, but Mateo Silban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Pablo Xabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Camilo Valentine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Hermelando to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Xabier in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 minutes of play Jarimana's Sebastian Santiago was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sebastian Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Eleuterio Umea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Danilo Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Silban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Silban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Chayo in the 60th minute of play. Mateo Silban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Chayo in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Hipatía booed when Jarimana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iker Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Danilo Hermelando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jarimana's Mateo Silban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hipatía's Camilo Valentine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Hipatía from getting a goal against them. Iker Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Valentine having to interfere. Mateo Silban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Hermelando in the 93rd minute of the match. When Pablo Xabier fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarimana's protests and gave Pablo Xabier a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Jarimana got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Xabier. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jarimana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
