The supporters of CERVECERO QAC booed when Hipatía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hipatía's goalkeeper Camilo Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CERVECERO QAC's Santiago Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Chayo in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Chayo got free with Santiago Mendez in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in CERVECERO QAC's zone, Danilo Hermelando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Mendez came out of the goal and Danilo Hermelando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saturnino Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Valentine having to interfere. Camilo Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Hurko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Hurko took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Valentine. Camilo Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Santiago Mendez made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Adolfo Chayo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Orlandus during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, CERVECERO QAC's Cristian Larpe tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Mario Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Hipatía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Gombal to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Mario Hurko sped through Hipatía's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Valentine. Mario Hurko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. CERVECERO QAC's Santiago Mendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save CERVECERO QAC from getting a goal against them. CERVECERO QAC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
