Spectators: 7192 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) Michal Gaszynski made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Rolando Beliran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Gaszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Selmo got free with Dionisio Montae in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes Curapaligüé got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Ixona. Rogelio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Beliran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Curapaligüé were furious when Guaberto Ixona was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 18 minutes into the game, one of Curapaligüé:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Morrison a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leopoldo Fidencio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curapaligüé's Rogelio Mitxaut. 1-1. Curapaligüé's Rogelio Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Fernandez in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ivan Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Montae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Curapaligüé's Adolfo Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Beliran in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Mitxaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Dionisio Montae managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Curapaligüé's Serafin Romelio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Adolfo Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ivan Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Selmo got free with Dionisio Montae in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Curapaligüé booed when Morrison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Fernandez to make the kick off. Severino Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Morrison got a freekick which was hit by Severino Gonzalez. Rolando Beliran came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogelio Mitxaut could save by the left post. Rogelio Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Curapaligüé. Michal Gaszynski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dionisio Montae. 2-1. 66 minutes into the game, Curapaligüé's Ivan Selmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dionisio Montae made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Adolfo Bastiaro put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dionisio Montae. Curapaligüé's Rogelio Mitxaut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Curapaligüé from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ivan Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Curapaligüé had played much better football throughout.
