Julian Jordy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Vachon in the 29th minute of play forced Morrison's goalkeeper Dionisio Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Vachon might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Montae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquilino Vachon ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Morrison's Julian Quintyn got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 42nd minute, Higinio Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Morrison's Leopoldo Fidencio tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Martin Caton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Beliran in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Calilegua's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Fernandez came free, but Martin Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Itzaina charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Morrison booed when Calilegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

58 minutes into the game, one of Morrison:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Dionisio Montae, was totally fooled by Calilegua's Higinio Erasto, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dionisio Montae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Jordy's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Dionisio Montae made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Aquilino Vachon sent off a good shot on target. Erubiel Itzaina kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Rolando Beliran struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Martin Caton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morrison. Calilegua's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
