Rolando Beliran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jorge Sidro made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sacachispas FC's Honorio Asur got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Paulo Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sacachispas FC's Sergio Vigil in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morrison's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Morrison's zone, Desiderio Roano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Montae came out of the goal and Desiderio Roano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Rolando Beliran made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Sidro. Sacachispas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sergio Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Vigil in the 37th minute of play forced Morrison's goalkeeper Dionisio Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Vigil in the 40th minute of the match.

Dionisio Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Morrison's zone, Sergio Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Montae came out of the goal and Sergio Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Morrison's Dionisio Montae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Morrison from getting a goal against them. Diego Godoy's late challenge caught a Sacachispas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Godoy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Morrison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Godoy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Sergio Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacachispas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Montae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Morrison booed when Sacachispas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Sacachispas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Quintyn came free, but Jorge Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Asur lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Sacachispas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Morrison:s goal. Rolando Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Aaron Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacachispas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dionisio Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sacachispas FC's Jorge Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Fernandez in the 97th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Morrison were victorious despite being under pressure from Sacachispas FC for much of the match.
