This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Enzo Natal as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 29 minutes of play, Curapaligüé's Michal Gaszynski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Natal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enzo Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Ivan Selmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empoli FC's Enzo Natal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Felipillo in the 44th minute of play forced Curapaligüé's goalkeeper Rogelio Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ivan Selmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Natal was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Boni was the one to do the kick off. Amado Errapel charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Errapel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Empoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Errapel. After 64 played minutes Empoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Flor. Enzo Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Gaszynski in the 65th minute of the match. Enzo Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Selmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Natal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Gaszynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Selmo in the 69th minute of play forced Empoli FC's goalkeeper Enzo Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Empoli FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Baltasar Nalo hit a great ball. Curapaligüé walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
