With an all-out effort, Majaditas AFC's Clemente Bartoli threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeremias Frutos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Clemente Bartoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Gilesindo in the 26th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Frutos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pepones getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Diego Paul hit a great ball. Mauricio Manex received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iker Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes, Majaditas AFC's Cornelio Rumaldo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Bartoli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Majaditas AFC reached it. In the 69th minute, Pepones's Diego Paul seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Diego Paul the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pepones protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diego Paul had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. It was beautiful to see Majaditas AFC's Julian Nuno in action when he in the 71st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Julian Nuno hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pepones defense, Marciano Acuña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Bartoli. The Pepones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Bartoli should have stopped the shot. When Everardo Goi fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pepones's protests and gave Everardo Goi a yellow card for diving instead. Everardo Goi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Pepones getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cosme Gomez hit a great ball. Claudio Gilesindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Bartoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Majaditas AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pepones had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
