The supporters of Sapitos booed when Iron Cowboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Millan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Beturian went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pastor Frederik kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Gregory's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Nafarroa was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Sapitos got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Caetano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Michael in the 27th minute of play forced Sapitos's goalkeeper Pastor Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Michael in the 29th minute of play. Edelmiro Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Pastor Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 42 minutes Sapitos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Gregory who took care of the corner kick. Andres Mercurio's late challenge caught a Iron Cowboy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Mercurio helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Sapitos got a freekick which was hit by Andres Mercurio. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Frederik made a kick off. Sapitos's Pastor Nafarroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Sapitos from getting a goal against them. Pastor Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Nafarroa having to interfere. Eulalio Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Michael in the 61st minute of play. Gabriel Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Nafarroa having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Pastor Michael recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pastor Nafarroa. Pastor Michael showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Eulalio Tallia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pastor Nafarroa made a huge save. Pastor Nafarroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 92 minutes into the game, Iron Cowboy FC's Pastor Michael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Nafarroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 96 minutes into the match, Sapitos's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Michael came free, but Pastor Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
