After some careless play in the Los Andes defense, Cesar Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Lore. The Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Lore should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Andes's goalkeeper Nemesio Lore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Maximiliano Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galga United's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Ticho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Arturo Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Lore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesar Casado hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Guifre got free with Clodoveo Betadur in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clodoveo Betadur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Guifre went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cesar Casado made the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Cedro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Nemesio Lore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cesar Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nemesio Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Cedro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Nemesio Lore made a huge save. Nemesio Lore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Iliana in the 60th minute. If Arnoldo Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Nemesio Lore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Iliana got free with Nemesio Lore in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cesar Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Galga United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arturo Iliana hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Maximiliano Ticho took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nemesio Lore to make any attempt to save it. When Alfredo Rik fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galga United's protests and gave Alfredo Rik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Alfredo Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Saverio Tabor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galga United's Clodoveo Betadur didn't even have to move. If Arnoldo Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Andes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesar Casado was slow to take the kick. During this time Galga United's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cesar Casado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Andes's Nemesio Lore did a great save. In the 92nd minute, Galga United's Gaspar Tonio fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Nemesio Lore was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Maximiliano Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galga United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Ticho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cesar Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Galga United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Andes.
