The San lorenzo fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when San lorenzo's Guido Orlandus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, San lorenzo's Ernesto Marquez got control of the ball when Ruperto Frans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, San lorenzo's Amado Cordeal got a free kick in the 61st minute. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, San lorenzo's Zeledon Remir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Tauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Felix Tauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Orlandus's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute.
