Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Endira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Elias Berart, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ruperto Lorenz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Teofilo Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Ildefonso Endira came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cochagual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Endira couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes, Benedicto Ortzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Cochagual players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Venceslao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Berart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Lorenz having to make a save. In the 58th minute Teofilo Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Berart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Inautzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Kepa in the 82nd minute of the match. Ruperto Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cochagual's zone, Primitivo Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Lorenz came out of the goal and Primitivo Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Teofilo Lop tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruperto Lorenz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boca Juniors played a much better game than Cochagual and deserved their victory. The Cochagual players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
