Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roman Jaunzuria took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benedicto Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 7 minutes, Benedicto Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gardey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Cordarrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Silvanito came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Gardey's Benedicto Cordarrel. But to his dismay, Benedicto Cordarrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sarmiento AFC's Gregorio Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Ambrosio Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gardey's zone, Gregorio Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Fidele came out of the goal and Gregorio Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Tajo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Silvanito. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Zacarias Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Benedicto Cordarrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Raimundo Silvanito made a huge save. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Benedicto Cordarrel sped through Sarmiento AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Silvanito. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Tajo made a kick off. A collision led to Sarmiento AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ramon Eudoxio hit a great ball. Raimundo Silvanito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Fidele having to interfere. Benedicto Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Silvanito having to interfere. When Cayetano Tajo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gardey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Tajo couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Sarmiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Benedicto Cordarrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Montae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Fidele having to interfere. Benedicto Cordarrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Silvanito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gregorio Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Fidele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Fidele having to interfere. Gregorio Montae struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Zacarias Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento AFC. After 93 played minutes Gardey got a freekick which was hit by Rene Telesforo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gardey had won after a very even match.
