But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Orlandus couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Marquez made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gregorio Montae sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Gregorio Montae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ernesto Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roman Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Silvanito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Remir went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, San lorenzo's Zeledon Remir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Silvanito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roman Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ernesto Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Remir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Silvanito having to interfere. A collision led to San lorenzo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Amado Cordeal hit a great ball. Ernesto Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Jaunzuria in the 44th minute of play. Zeledon Remir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Silvanito having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Raimundo Silvanito made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Guido Orlandus sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento AFC's Joaquin Clis got a free kick in the 54th minute. With an all-out effort, San lorenzo's Raimundo Silvanito threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeledon Remir, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Zeledon Remir put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Raimundo Silvanito. Guido Orlandus in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raimundo Silvanito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 63 minutes into the game, Domingo Segio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 72nd minute, Delmar Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Orlandus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 74th playminute. Gregorio Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ernesto Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Montae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Remir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Silvanito having to interfere. Raimundo Silvanito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Remir in the 94th minute of the match. Raimundo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Remir, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The San lorenzo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
