With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Lop in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Romo saved Fundidores FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Teofilo Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Lop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Romo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Teofilo Lop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaudencio Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lop in the 19th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Teofilo Lop slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaudencio Romo. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 23rd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Gabriel Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Txerran in the 26th minute of play. Teofilo Lop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gaudencio Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Elias Berart recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaudencio Romo. Elias Berart showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Elias Berart struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Gaudencio Romo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Gaudencio Romo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Berart in the 38th minute. Elias Berart's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaudencio Romo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gaudencio Romo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Elias Berart sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Damaso Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Lizar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64thth minute of the game Elias Berart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fundidores FC's Gaudencio Romo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fundidores FC defense, Teofilo Lop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Romo. The Fundidores FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Romo should have stopped the shot. Gaudencio Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lop in the 72nd minute of play. Gaudencio Romo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Lop's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Tobias Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Urre's late challenge caught a Fundidores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Urre helped the player get up and apologised. Tobias Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Romo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Berart's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Teofilo Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Txerran got free with Gabriel Inautzi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Fundidores FC's zone, Primitivo Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Romo came out of the goal and Primitivo Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Elias Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boca Juniors fully deserved thier win.
