Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Divisadero FC's Horacio Erasto got a free kick in the 36th minute. Nereo Onbera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorete FC's Nereo Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Figueroa in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Dominguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Figueroa scored 0-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Onbera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Guaberto Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divisadero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Hechter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Onbera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Divisadero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Hechter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Onbera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guaberto Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Figueroas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Nereo Onbera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
