Feliciano Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Fiz in the 47th minute of play. The Ricardo F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ave Fénix Fútbol Club were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Marciano Gagriel made the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 66th minute Leonides Mosen suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Generoso Indartsu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricardo F.C's protests and gave Generoso Indartsu a yellow card for diving instead. Generoso Indartsu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ricardo F.C's Feliciano Lopes got control of the ball when Hugo Fiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Ricardo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Maximiliano Isauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Malvin in the 91st minute of play forced Ricardo F.C's goalkeeper Feliciano Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
