Ernesto Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Javier Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ernesto Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Nesto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Rafael Goizeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Arce hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Goizeder in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, - Lujan Sport Club -'s Miguel Arce got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ubaldo Elivareo could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Ernesto Furman however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ubaldo Elivareo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ernesto Furman to make any attempt to save it. Javier Ellande might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Furman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Ellande ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Javier Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. - Lujan Sport Club -'s supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, - Lujan Sport Club -'s Miguel Arce got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Omar Blanco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Orlando Ayala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Rafael Goizeder came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ambrosetti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Goizeder couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Ubaldo Elivareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Ayala was a little too slow when Rafael Goizeder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. Ubaldo Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Javier Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Ellande in the 64th minute of play forced Ambrosetti AFC's goalkeeper Ernesto Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. - Lujan Sport Club -'s Orlando Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Goizeder in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ambrosetti AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
